Running 2009

Well, it’s that time of year again for me when I “restart” my running efforts. I typically take mid October through the end of the year off from running as a Winter Siesta. I don’t like the idea of being a block of ice with sneakers, so I won’t even begin racing until April. So, I am starting my running just in a few days. Regiment includes, a Herbalife lifestyle as well. Two to 3 days a week running and a daily does of Herbalife. Of my goals, I plan on loosing 12 pounds as my current minimum goal. Late last summer, I found out just how fast I could run in a short distance. Losing the weight should help me make myself into a running missile — I hope.

Cool blog. i agree, why bother? I have also taken some time off for recovery from a crazy year of ultras and marathons. I am glad I am not the only one who is “restarting” the running efforts. Great job.

Thanks Run4change, While I’m not in your league, I do enjoy it! I run January through mid October and need the brake.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Personal View (March 2009)

Running, Without it, Why Bother -- This saying says it all for me. To prove a point, my wife never imagined running at all until recently. She adds running to her walking and loves it!
