This past Saturday, I ran a simulated 5k race or a 3.1 mile distance at race pace. With hills and wind, I wasn’t to disappointed on the outcome. I finished with a time of 31:55. It wasn’t a flat course, though I was really familiar with it. All in all, it was a great run in the sun. I finished being very satisfied. Then today Sunday, I ran a distance of 4.5 miles with a time of 48:55. It was again a sunny and warm day. Traffic wasn’t bad and it was a good run. I ran today as if I never ran the day before, legs ready to burn the road. With another 5k race just right around the corner, I may just be ready for it? I say it that way, because, if I get to do this one, it’s a harder one. It’s the Danville Memorial 5k and 12k T-Rail Runs. Yes, it’s the 5k that I’m doing. I’m not at 12k level yet. Need to find out if race is happening.
